BOOK FAIR

It starts with a choice: What do I want to read? And since being empowered to

choose their own books is a milestone opportunity to identify and express their

own voice, kids also leave the Book Fair as bolder, prouder, and

stronger individuals. Hope parents set up a pop up book store for one week for

students and families to purchase books once in the fall and again in the Spring.

 GARDENS

We have 3 gardens at Hope: Native, Pollinator, and Kinder Gardens! Each garden is cared for by The Green Team and more parent volunteers. Not only are our gardens beneficial to our environment, they provide wonderful learning spaces for our children. Whether it's taking some time to breathe and reset to sensory play and exploration in the dirt, our children deeply value these spaces.

The Great kindness challenge

Hosted by Kids for Peace, this is one dedicated to promoting kindness. Checklists are provided with 50 acts of kindness that can be done by students and families. Daily activities that reinforce our kindness mission are organized during recess and lunch.

science fair

All students in grades K-5 are invited to participate in Hope's Annual Science

Day.  Participation in the science fair stimulates a student’s interest in scientific

investigation beyond what is taught in the classroom. Through research,

experimentation, visual exhibits, and presentations, the science fair offers students

a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills.
